Yoke and mirrors

Anyway the next day Astria Dardanus and me went to the dragon temple to return that horn. I can’t remember what the head priest Esop said about that but he did tell us about that Acastus the king of Mytros wants to make a new group of dragonlords. You’d think he’d like that but he didn’t because he doesn’t think the king is a nice guy.

And then he said that maybe Astria and me could be dragonlords!!! Well I do think a dragon friend would be awesome but maybe he just thought better us than some king who’d do no good with the dragons I guess?? Come on though, I’m barely a hero of the prophecy and I don’t really feel like I’m the son of a god either. Well we’ll see. Haha, it’s getting more weird for my parents every day! Good thing they don’t read this!! By the way he didn’t say to Dardanus that he could be a dragonlord which is a bit sad but Dardanus hates dragons anyway so I think it’s ok.  

Then there was another dragon surprise: A dragon! Really it came flying and it was HUGE and really flashy silver. Also a bit grumpy but I liked it somehow. He was here to bring Vallus who Kyrah called like a day earlier to help heal Astria. She’s the wife of king Acastus but she’s actually a good person apparently and also my aunt of course. We should give her the horn in Mytros when the dragon isn’t around, because he would tell the king.

So she took Astria in to heal her and after we asked about the creatures Falios and Pachinko saw at the ritual stone. She said they were basilisks and they were dangerous because if you even look at them they can turn you into stone!! Like the guys saw. BUT we were being very smart because we figured out (actually Vallus knew this already) that we can make them turn themselves to stone using mirrors.! So we got like 10 or more mirrors and put them all over ourselves until we looked really silly haha. But it worked though!! We sneaked into their lair and TWO actually turned themselves into stone. The others we just killed.

Oh hey and that’s where I found a very special egg! Normally I can’t really pay enough attention and others find stuff first but this time I found something first, ha! And I should be really happy because Nyssa was inside but I didn’t know that yet. We asked the dragon priest guy about it and he said it was kind of like a tiny dragon!! Not really a big one but a tiny one. And I got to keep it!! Since I found it and really liked it already. I asked Dardanus and he was ok with it because it was only going to be a tiny dragon. Well hopefully.

Oh yeah and then something stupid happened because Torag apparently arrange a date for me. A DATE. For ME. I mean what am I supposed to do with that??? I didn’t even know her!! And no of course I didn’t ask for it. I couldn’t just leave her I guess so we went to a rock and she brought me fish and it was nice I GUESS. I still didn’t like what Torag did but at least he was lucky in that he picked someone nice. Her name’s Ellie.
