So apparently, Ellie was in the dragon temple!! And I mean really to get training, to be a healer… For me I think?? Well not really actually - I mean she realised and thought of the idea to heal after I came back injured, and since we were talking about doing more than working for the messenger guild, she thought she’d like helping out in that way. And she actually decided to try!
But um, I came there with another big injury, and my first one wasn’t even healed yet. I tried to not let her notice… She was so worried about me and she finally seemed happy again now that we came back safe. And this injury was not so visible so I thought I could get away with it. But Astria and Dardanus were there too. Especially Dardanus! Kindly reminding me that I had another injury to talk about. And then Falios and Torag showed up, making things as awkward as they could when they saw us together. Like ok maybe we like each other, shut up!!
I just pulled her away somewhere without all those guys around to tell about the injury, no way around that now. She didn’t like to hear it and especially didn’t like that I tried to hide it from her but we made up again in the end. I promised her I would tell if things were wrong.
So after that she went back to training and I went with Dardanus to go to Esop for him to check out this injury thing. He gave me a horrible, disgusting potion that I had to drink FIVE nights in a row. But at least I should be able to fight again then. Of course Dardanus kept commenting on me and Ellie and making me feel all embarrassed over it. I just walked away at some point… And then came back because I forgot the potion and then walked away again!
Then finally we managed to find my dad Pythor!! He was drunk again but at least he wasn’t sleeping with girls this time. I asked about all the money that was needed, somehow hoping Volken made a joke. But I had to really find that money, it’s supposed to be a journey or something? Well he did say he believes in me! That mattered a lot somehow.
Then Dardanus and me wanted to train with him - I mostly because I kept getting hit so badly. Eventually we had a match with him, and really, we almost had him!!! I really saw it - I saw in his eyes that he was about to black out!! But in some way he snapped back to it and hit me one more time, and well, that was it. But honestly, we were so close!!! I mean, it probably didn’t help him that he was drunk, BUT, I was injured, so. It still counts. And he seemed to really like the fight too.
So um, we needed a tonne of healing again, and uh… Well let’s just say that Ellie was amazed at how hurt we managed to get ourselves in such a short time..
At the end of the day there was a play - Pachinko did some songs at the start, he was really good. And then there was a play, about the titans and gods I think it was. I couldn’t focus so well after today. But we knew we had to go to Mythros next to save Torag’s mom and and the city too. I’ll tell you about that in the next one!
