So then we went to something called Telamok I think, which is where the dead Dragonlords are. It was quite a while to get there and it didn’t help that I had to walk because I was sad for Ellie. I didn’t tell anyone. We passed by these giant stone hands that stuck out of the ground - they were so weird, we didn’t dare to touch them. Astria said it had something to do with the titans I think? Then we went up and up into the mountains until we passed by some harpies that managed to charm Torag Astria and Dardanus but we got them in the end. Astria found a weird book there but until now we still haven’t figured out what it does.
It was so quiet and cold there. We went to sleep against like, an overhanging mountainside which at least kept us safe from the wind. Torag said there were probably lots of undead things around so we kept guards. Astria and I were doing a shift - that’s like when you have to stay awake and see if there’s anyone around for a couple of hours. It can suck, especially if you were already sleeping but it can also be cosy. We talked a bit about what everyone seems to expect from us. Like my siren parents worship Sydon and Ellie too I think? I don’t know, Sydon and Lutheria both seem to be the bad guys, now with that dream again too. So what if my parents and Ellie find out I’m kind of going against the Titans and helping the gods? … And even being one’s son? Astria says they’ll probably understand but I’m scared that it’s not that simple. Also I’m still confused about whether dragonlords are good or bad but I do like Nyssa at least.
Anyway we then went on to the burial place and we found this dead guy guarding the bridge. Torag seemed to know him? It was weird but he fixed that we’re allowed in. All graves had these big warnings like do not enter or you’ll never hear the end of it so we only went into the one we were supposed to go in. Eh… Kind of forgot his name… But we had to get his stuff is what I know.
His grave was cool actually - it had like a really big maze which was fun if it weren’t for the darkness of that place as well as the endless skeleton monsters. Really they kept on coming and coming!! Well actually it was kind of fun because I could smash them really well with my hammer, you know the one I got from Pythor. Torag was going first because he really knew how to do mazes, I didn’t know Minotaurs were so smart with that!
Eventually we found the middle chamber and man that was a scary one!!! Dardanus and Torag went in first and then there were these iron bars out of nowhere and a moving wall and it was so hectic and terrible but just, really just in time they managed to push open the opposite door and get through. We really carefully went through after… And there was that Dragonlord grave.
Oh but first a really big and angry minotaur came that actually wasn’t undead, who was upset about what the dragonlords had done, with the minotaur killing and enslaving and all. That seemed reasonable but I didn’t understand why he had to try and kill us over it! And he really made a good try because again, just like that stupid mega dog he got me really, really hard and I was out AGAIN. So stupid, like, I just don’t seem to get it!! I’ve been fighting so long, surely I can manage to get out of the way or something. Oh and it hurt so… After Astria and Pachinko healed me a bit you couldn’t really see any scars, but something wasn’t right inside..
I was.. though.. allowed to sit on Dardanus back on the way home. That was a lot of fun, even if I was still hurting.
And the way back out of nowhere we actually met THREE dragons and their riders!! They were copper ones, and looked really shiny and cool too. The riders said that apparently they were from king Acustus and were asking us to come to Mytros to help solve a storm that was destroying the place and was sent by Sydon probably. Like uh ok we’ll try.
There was also a siren that delivered a message from my mom and dad!!! My foster parents I mean. They’re a bit scared I think for me to be on such a journey and dad is scared I’ll leave them for Pythor. Well uhh I kind of didn’t tell them Pythor is my father… But you know what I mean. I miss them a lot.
So back in Estoria we went to Esop to see if he could help with my injury. And we happened to run into Ellie.
